If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this site or buy a ticket for the draw. If you purchase a ticket you will automatically be bound by these terms.

By purchasing a ticket you shall also be deemed to acknowledge that you do so with full consent and full knowledge of these terms and conditions. Your participation will be deemed to be your undertaking that you satisfy this requirement and shall be deemed to be your unequivocal and express agreement to be bound by these terms.

  • The promoters of this competition are Kilcock GAA, Carbury GAA and Cappagh GAA, (the “Clubs”) Co. Kildare, Republic of Ireland.
  • The clubs are established and conducting purposes not connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries. The purpose of this draw is for the development of the Clubs.
  • The draw is open to anyone worldwide subject to entry being restricted to natural persons over 18 years of age who has the requisite power and authority to understand and agree to these Terms and to carry out and perform the obligations as set out hereunder.
  • Only those who have purchased a Ticket and have fully paid for the Ticket before the draw are eligible to participate in this draw.
  • A maximum of 6,000 tickets are available.
  • The first prize is a 4 Bed, Semi Detached House (in Cluain Dara, Derrinturn, Co. Kildare) (the “Property”) plus €10,000 which covers costs for registration, stamp duty and fees. The winner(s) will be registered as the owner(s) of the Property. The value of the Property is €250,000.
  • The first prize may  be substituted for a cash alternative of €250,000 or used against an alternative product. The prizes are non-transferable and only consist of what is listed on the draw’s website.
  • Entrants must answer a qualifying question “How many bedrooms does the winning house have?” Answer is required.
  • Cost of entry to the Win North Kildare House  (the “Ticket”) draw is €100. Excluding booking fee where applicable.
  • Upon purchasing a Ticket  you are automatically registered as a social member of Club (if not already a Member) for the period of 8th January 2019 until the next AGM. No additional fee applies.
  • All members participating in this draw are subject to the rules of that chosen club.
  • Any public notice or announcement about the draw is a notice to members of the Clubs or to other persons concerned
  • By purchasing a Ticket, an entrant is deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The Clubs reserves the right to amend, update, revise, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason. Where any term or condition is so modified, the Clubs will notify entrants, members and ticket holders of the nature of the change by publishing them on winnorthkildarehouse.ie. Ticketholders are at all times bound by the terms and conditions as published on winnorthkildarehouse.ie/terms-conditions and your purchase of a ticket will be acceptance of an obligation that you must check this page frequently to ensure you are aware of changes which will be immediately binding once posted.                  
  • These Terms and Conditions contain all of the Terms which the Parties have agreed and supersede all other prior terms and conditions, understandings, arrangements or agreements, whether verbal or written, in relation to the competition.
  • Once purchased, no refunds will be issued except in the case of the cancellation of the draw in which case refunds will be issued excluding booking fees if applicable.
  • Each entrant may qualify for additional prizes in the draw, which are €10,000, €7,500, €5,000 and €2,500.
  • There is a maximum of two names per Ticket.
  • Neither the Trustees nor any member of the executive committee of the Clubs, including the organisers of the draw, shall be liable for any loss suffered by any person participating in the draw.
  • The Clubs shall not in any circumstances be liable for any loss suffered due to any issues in the construction of the Property. In this regard the clubs do not make any representation or warranty as to the structural or cosmetic or any other condition of the property that is the subject of the first prize.
  • The winner(s) of the “Win North Kildare House” draw shall accept the fit out and finish of the Property as provided without recourse to the Clubs or LandPort Estates, the builder, on completion of the Property.
  • The Winner(s) are purchasing a Ticket with the express knowledge that the property is being accepted at their own sole risk and that it is provided on an “as is” basis and without any warranty, representation, promise or guarantee whatsoever of any kind either express, implied or statutory including but not limited to title, merchantability, fitness for use, structure or otherwise and the entrant shall rely on its own examination and investigation thereof.
  • The Clubs disclaim any liability for interruption, delay or errors in use and is not liable for any loss whatsoever whether direct, indirect or consequential loss. 
  • After the draw has taken place and the Property has been registered in the name of the winner(s), the Clubs will have no direct or indirect financial interest in the said Property.
  • The organisers of this draw shall not derive any personal profit from it.
  • The draw will be held in the 2nd June 2019 in a venue to be announced subject to all tickets being sold by that time. The organisers reserve the right to move the date of the draw should tickets sell out before or after that date.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received (or not received in full) for whatever reason.
  • The Clubs reserve the right to change the date of the draw due to any unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Clubs reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Clubs.
  • The Clubs decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the competition result.
  • The Winning Ticket will be drawn by an independent person. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone . The Winners name will also be announced on the Website and relevant social media platforms.  In the event that the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within  21 days of notification, the Prize will be awarded to a new winner. In this event, any subsequent draw will take place in accordance with these Terms and conditions until a new winner is established.
  • The winning Ticket and the ticket holder(s) will be subject to verification by the Clubs and their agents. This process may take up to 7 days to complete. The winners hereby agree to forward the necessary KYC documentation including a copy of their passport/ drivers licence, proof of address, PPS number (for residents of Ireland) and validation of payment to the club and/or their agents to prove their identity and also to ensure the property can be stamped and registered in the winners name.
  • The Clubs accept no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, hacking, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Furthermore the clubs do not accept responsibility for entries which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, other malfunctions, high internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.
  • The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. By purchasing the Ticket, all entrants confirm their agreement to take part on any associated publicity without additional payment or permission . Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Irish data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  • By accepting these terms and conditions all ticket holders (i.e. the data subjects) agree that personal data shall be collected and processed by the clubs as per their social media protocols and stored on the relevant club’s database and used for the administration of its ongoing relationship with ticket holders in connection with the draw. All ticket holders have the right to access their personal data by writing to the following address: [email protected]. The Clubs shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations if caused by factors outside its control.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall not create or be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between the Ticket Holder and the Clubs.
  • The implementation, conduction and verification of this draw will be fully supervised by an independent adjudicator.
  • The laws of the Republic of Ireland shall have application to these Terms and Conditions and the respective rights and obligations of each party hereto are governed by Irish Law.
  • Any disputes, claims, controversies, difference or questions of any nature arising out of, relating to or in connection with the draw shall be determined by arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Dublin, Ireland. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. The arbitration tribunal shall consist of a single arbitrator appointed by agreement between the parties or, failing agreement between the parties within 30 days after a request for arbitration is made by any party, appointed on the application of any party by the president for the time being of the Law Society of Ireland.
